NEWS - AUGUST 2004
CALLING
ALL WEST MIDLANDS BASED FEMALE PLAYWRIGHTS!
Script
and Foursight are joining together to offer women
playwrights the opportunity of having their work
produced by Foursight in Spring 2005.
Foursight
Theatre is one of Britain's most highly acclaimed
national and international touring theatre companies.
Over the last 17 years it has gained an exceptional
reputation for creating unusual, uncompromising
and mutli-disciplinary works, which review history
through the eyes of women: unknown, famous and
infamous.
In February
and March 2005 Foursight will be working with
two women writers from the region in the development
of two new plays, taking the scripts from page
to stage. Working within a short period of time
the emphasis will be to present each play, in
its first incarantion for three performances.
